Hooked Ever Since My First Tokina Lens

An image of Nikon's new interchangeable lens camera, the Nikon 1 J1 ...I remember back when I bought my first Tokina lens there was still a lot of uncertainty about using third party products. I was still a college student so money was obviously very tight otherwise, I would also have gone with a Nikkor or Canon, which were the more established brands. I am glad that I did try out the Tokina however as the quality was superb. Since then it has become my brand of choice, simply because I found their quality and prices to be top-notch. While I do not have that many lenses in my kit, I use all of them quite a lot and the over the years I have had very few hassles with the Tokina ones. It could just be that because I never really used Canon or Nikkor lenses apart from the kit lens that came with my camera body, that I find the difference in quality is imperceptible.

My Tall Friend

One of my friends is extremely tall, he is almost seven feet tall. The other day we decided to get some lunch and stop by the mall to grab some new clothes after. When we arrived at the cafe where we were having lunch everyone started to stare at him. He said he doesn’t get embarrassed or anything when everyone starts looking at him, but I think it bothers him a little bit. If he is talking to someone and other people start looking at him he kind of starts to get a little quiet. Almost as if he is acting shy, I guess. I feel a little bad for him because he is a good friend and is a really nice person. He just looks really huge at almost seven feet and he weighs almost 300 pounds because he lifts weights. The best thing is that he can look down girls tops when he is talking to them and he says he just focuses on their name tag if they are wearing one so it doesn’t look too obvious.

Looking into a New Line of Work

I am thinking of starting up a photography business once we get moved to Boston. I plan to talk with a few boston wedding photographers about the market there and to see how much I should be charging. Pricing can be very different depending on where you live. I hope to be able to do my photography full-time as soon as possible. I miss working with my camera and capturing memories for people. I took some time off after my baby was born and have not returned to it. I feel as though I am missing something in my life when I am not out taking pictures. My friends and family are really encouraging me to get back to my passion. I would also like to upgrade my camera and I can only do that I am able to get some work in. Starting this new business will be a good thing.
