Owning a House is a Lot of Work!

Jovee and Mercy - my Filipina friends, Hong Kong Island, Hong KongMy wife and I bought our first house last year. After living in an apartment for years, we are really glad to have some space. Not having to deal with an noisy upstairs neighbor is also great. There are some parts we miss though. When it snowed for the first time, we realized there was no landlord to hire someone to shovel for us. My back was pretty sore after that! Luckily, it only snowed twice. The spring brought a weekly chore of mowing the lawn. We want to have kids, so we made sure to get a big backyard. I decided it was way too much time and effort to mow by myself. The Large Home

I have just recently discovered that I have family in Georgia and despite where they live, their house is pretty awesome. They live somewhere in the country and by somewhere I mean in the deepest part of the country where civilization is almost nonexistent. But they have their own slice of civilization in their home, having such a large house they turned the basement into a large game room which honestly looks like an arcade. And I have to say it is a large one at that having just about every game system known to man and if not that their kitchen is massive in comparison to others. The entire house, or so I believe, is run on a diesel generator for home use. Thus allowing them to have a seemingly low electric bill (at least that’s what I was told). Honestly I never would have thought such a thing to be possible, living in the country still having civilization I mean anyway. I commend them for such a thing, I really do.

My family and I love to adopt pets and even buy the cute one’s we see in the pet store. That’s why when I noticed the teacup pigs for sale I was ecstatic. They are the cutest little pigs I’ve ever seen. I think they will be great pets since we already have a horse and cow on our farm. They would make a great addition the farm animals we already have. I just mentioned to my parents that the only thing we were missing was a pig. Now we can get a teacup pig and make our farm family complete. Since these pigs are smaller, I would imagine they would be easier to clean up behind. Not only that, but they probably won’t make as much noise as the bigger ones. These will also be good to hold and cuddle in your arms like a baby. I can’t wait to bond with my new teacup pig.
