Overview
|
Formed by the Florida Legislature in 2005, the Century Commission is comprised of 15 volunteer members. The Commission is tasked with:
- envisioning Florida’s future by looking out 25 and 50 years,
- making recommendations to the Governor and Legislature regarding how they should address the impacts of population growth, and
- establishing a place where the "best community-building ideas" can be studied and shared for the benefit of all Floridians.
The Legislature intended that the Century Commission last for many years, so as the Commission’s work product evolves, this website will be updated. Please let us know what YOU care about by filling out the survey and thank you for participating in the work of the Century Commission for a Sustainable Florida. |
